In order to provide better communication and to promote
greater collegiality among the physicians and scientists involved
in the care of the hand and upper extremity, our group has developed
an instrument that we believe will evolve into a valuable virtual
consortium, HandNet.
In the coming months, members of the medical community who visit this site will have the opportunity to register and receive a protected password that will unlock the ability to share information, ask questions, and receive notification of CME events and special opportunities.
We at National Hand Specialists at Union Memorial Hospital value
our longstanding referral relationships and welcome new "friends
of the Hand Center." We intend to make priority access
available to our HandNet partner's patients
and enhance our ability to render general surgical recommendations
that may be helpful in the care of your patients.
Features like interesting cases and review of controversial
trends in our specialty will also be part of the HandNet
experience. Please be patient as we embark on this unique project.
